Are you licensed and currently doing FHA Appraisals?
Are you planning to apply to the FHA Roster?
As you are no doubt aware, as of October 1, 2008 FHA requires all Applicants to the FHA Roster to be State Certified. This means either Certified Residential or Certified General appraisers. Licensed Appraisers can no longer make application. Although a State Licensed Appraiser already on the Roster can remain on it, it appears that at some point in the future, not becoming Certified will mean removal from the roster.
Plan NOW to upgrade....
.....but according to YOUR Schedule.
To assist you in your upgrade, the Appraisal School in Pryor Creek has already planned a curriculum that will make it possible to go from State Licensed to State Certified Residential in less than 6 weeks. Our regular calendar of course offerings will provide what you need to meet the state requirements.
